On October 25, 2018, Super Typhoon Yutu swept through the Northern Mariana Islands. The category 5 storm was the strongest ever recorded on the U. S. territory. The destruction of Saipan in particular led to a coordinated response from the Federal Emergency Management Agency that included construction of 66 temporary school structures, which was performed by Brice Engineering.
After the Storm: Ensuring Education Can Continue
As an ANC 8(a) firm, Brice is eligible to receive sole source contracts regardless of dollar size, with no upper limit, compared with traditional 8(a) enterprises which are held to a sole source contract limit of $4 million.
