Brice Engineering welcomes Cody Gauer as General Manager. Cody joins Brice with a 15-year career as a senior executive, engineer, strategic planning and business analyst, operations manager, and organizational leader. His commitment to operations excellence and a robust, proactive safety culture will support our organization’s continued success.
Cody has a degree in Petroleum Engineering, and is currently enrolled in the University of Washington MPA program. He recently held the position of President/CEO for three subsidiaries of the Bristol Bay Native Corporation. In his free time, Cody is the Lead Coach and Developer of the Pumps, Bumps & Jumps Mountain Bike Clinic and Board Member of Singletrack Advocates, a non-profit advocacy group focused on preserving, maintaining, and developing mountain bike trails in Anchorage, Alaska. One of his recent successes was leading the Hillside Phase 2 Development project adding 5.5 miles of new trails to Bicentennial Park in Anchorage.
When asked what he would do in his first 90 days, Cody replied, “Get to know the team, both in small and larger groups; learn the organization from both a technical and business standpoint; understand the leadership levels and vision, goals, strategy to achieve them, then sharing that with the team.”
Since joining the Brice team, Cody has impressed a level of positive energy and enthusiasm that has been refreshing given our current times. “I know Cody will be a great asset to this amazing organization,” said Jamie Oakley, President.
