Brice Engineering is excited to announce that General Manager, Jennifer Anderson, PE, PMP was appointed by Governor Bill Walker to serve as Civil Engineer on the Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors Board. As shown on the the Board’s website, its mission is to adopt regulations to protect the public health, safety, and welfare through the regulation of the practice of architecture, engineering, land surveying, and landscape architecture by: ensuring that those entering these practices meet minimum standards of competency, and maintain such standards during their practice; requiring licensure to practice in the State of Alaska; and enforcing both the licensure and competency requirements in a fair and uniform manner.
“The Board is an important entity to safeguard the integrity of the three professions it oversees, which play an important role in public safety and welfare. I am looking forward to the opportunity to have a new avenue to give back to my professional community,” said Jennifer Anderson.
Jennifer was appointed on March 1, 2018 and will serve a four-year term.
