Brice is currently performing environmental remediation activities at 17 geographically dispersed installations located throughout remote Alaska: Barter Island Long Range Radar Site (LRRS), Bear Creek Radio Relay Station (RRS), Campion Air Force Station (AFS), Cape Lisburne LRRS, Clear AFS, Granite Mountain RRS, Indian Mountain LRRS, Kalakaket Creek RRS, Kotzebue LRRS, Lake Louise Recreation Camp, Murphy Dome LRRS, North River RRS, Oliktok RRS, Point Barrow LRRS, Sparrevohn LRRS, Tatalina LRRS, and West Nome Tank Farm. The project objective is to perform site restoration at 17 installations (60 sites) and to achieve the Performance Objectives (POs).
Contract-wide work includes completing the Project Management Plan, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan, the Integrated Master Schedule/Milestone Payment Schedule, Contractor Manpower Reporting, sign replacement and well repair/replacement, and Restoration Advisory Board activities. Installation-specific work includes completing Basewide Quality Program Plans and the following site-specific activities to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and binding agreements: Institutional Control and Land Use Controls inspections, landfill inspections, sampling and analysis, and reporting to achieve the site-specific POs.
