In the summer of 2021, we opened the doors to our new office in Salt Lake City (SLC), Utah. Located smack in downtown SLC, our Brice Engineering office is now home to a growing team of environmental professionals.
It was three years prior when Program Manager, Corey Schwabenlander, PG, joined Brice, unknowingly planting the seed for what would evolve into our biggest hub outside of Alaska.
“We grew organically as project opportunities arose. But it was a couple of key contract awards in Utah in 2021 that catalyzed the need for more staff and therefore, a bigger office. We went from four to eight staff in what seemed almost overnight.” said Corey.
Our eight staff in SLC consist of both junior and senior level environmental professionals who support multiple projects in the Lower 48 for clients such as the U.S. Air Force, Army, and Army Corps of Engineers. Strategically located, the SLC office will allow Brice to keep growing a portfolio of work in the area.

“It’s been fun to see how we’ve expanded in the Lower 48 since I joined Brice in 2018,” said Corey. “The variety of projects we’ve won over the past few years has given us the opportunity to bring on some amazing people. And it’s those people that give us additional growth opportunities. Great people delivering excellent work has a domino effect that leads to more and more opportunities.”
